Ok, it's time for me to start working on this
page. I'll be adding information but for starters...
In June 2006 my brothers came out from Wisconsin
to do some climbing at Yosemite. I took a couple days off to
spend some time with them - here's some pictures. |

17 miles (27.4 km) round trip
4,800 ft. (1,465 m) elevation gain
8,842 ft. (2,695 m) above sea level
10-12 hours round trip |
The trip took us just under ten hours. |

I try to visit my family in Wisconsin a couple times a year.
Since January and February are "slow" months for me, I dig out
my long underwear and fly back for a week or two. |

June 2007 - my brothers came out from Wisconsin for their annual
climbing trip and they figured that since I made it to the top
of Half Dome last year, that I was ready for my first real
climb. We went to Lover's Leap (by Strawberry Lodge, about 20
miles west of South Lake Tahoe). |
